Lowering the drinking age.

i just read an article saying that many people are for lowering the drinking age. i'm very against this. 18 year olds get hit with too many responsibilities as it is and alot of them abuse that. even if you lowered the drinking age that wouldn't stop underage drinking. many teens start their drinking habits at 13......18 year olds will abuse the right of drinking. 21 year olds are much more responsible than 18 year olds. it doesn't matter that they go off into the military and fight for our country.....their occupation should not be a reason that the drinking age is lowered. any 18 has a chance of dieing before their first legal drink. being a soldier only raises the risk and its the risk they take. i'm not trying to be ungreatful of our soldiers but i'm just saying that it doesn't mean we should lower the drinking age. my basic statement is 18 year olds are reckless and will abuse it and the drinking age should stay where it is.

Election '08

hey everyone i'm very excited about obama's vistory over mccain. i think that obama is very qualified to help the country get back on it's feet. i know some people are mad about the rising taxes that may occur within the next year or so but just remember sometimes need to get worse before they get better. i'm sure obama only intends to have these taxes in place until he has the necessary funds to get the economy back up. i also applaud mccain's excellent conceeding speech. i respect how he kept his republicans followers from booing as they had attempted to.

on another notes i'm very upset at the out come of prop 8. the only reason i'm no on 8 is because a gay civil union does not have all the same benefits as a married couple and i think that's not right. they should be equally recognized by health insurance companies. if that was all done and taking care of then i would be against homosexual marriages even as a bisexual.

but with the desicion with prop 4 i'm very glad it didn't pass. girls shouldnt have to tell their parents for an abortion becasue that bill could have gone 2 ways......it could have either decreased the pregnancy rate in california or in could have increased our tax dollars with false investigations of abusive parents.
